It seems self-evident that organizations require high-quality data to achieve their business objectives. Yet in a competitive landscape, mere ownership of data that is accurate, comprehensive, authoritative and timely does not, on its own, enable organizations to use those assets to their advantage. Of equal importance is providing timely and controlled access to those datasets. Inaccessible data is no more useful than an assembly line built at great expense but lacking a power source.
