AI requires data, and the explosive demand for data from organizations today is causing a data engineering problem. This problem arises because, while AI increasingly drives enterprise efficiency and productivity, it remains dependent on the ability to integrate data from a variety of sources. What makes this challenge more difficult is the sheer volume of data being generated today in multiple formats—structured and unstructured—from a variety of sources across on-prem and cloud environments.
