Utilizing Deloitte’s Application Modernization program, NN Group, an insurance company, decided to leave its legacy mainframe systems and migrate to a modern platform. Deloitte supported and planned the migration to AWS, taking fewer than 17 months without code freezes or interruptions to the business. NN Group has seen an 80 percent IT cost reduction post-migration. The Office of Recovery Services (ORS), a division of Utah Department of Human Services (DHS), wanted to modernize its 25-year-old Office of Recovery Services Information System (ORSIS) Child Support system so it could support more families and better scale processes. Using the Application Modernization Transformation solution from Deloitte powered by innoWake, ORS was able to migrate legacy systems to AWS GovCloud, significantly improving its ability to handle transaction volume. ORS can now process 600K transactions per day on AWS, providing assistance for the thousands of families who depend on child support in Utah.

Thomson Reuters, a multinational information conglomerate, wanted to migrate its tax and accounting business technology applications to AWS. Leaning on Deloitte’s deep industry and migration knowledge, Thomson Reuters was able to migrate critical applications, allowing it to benefit from the scalability of AWS.
