The digital transformation of business applications from on-site to the cloud is well underway. According to Gartner, by 2028, cloud computing will shift from being a technology disruptor to becoming a necessary component to maintain business competitiveness. Milind Govekar, Distinguished VP Analyst at Gartner, is quoted as saying, “CIOs and IT leaders will have to implement a highly efficient cloud operating model in order to achieve their desired business objectives.”
